Narcissus is remembered for having fallen in Love with himself. The Nymph, Echo, was in Love with Narcissus but he wanted nothing to do with her, her Love was not returned. Echo disappeared from the woods and the mountains and faded away. Some say that not even her bones were found because they turned into stone.
